and finally one a group of us found while at Glasshouse. It was abandoned when we found it (and the engine cold) but the owners turned up just before we left. Took three LandCruisers to drag it out...

That looks like the same hole that swallowed maverick on our last club trip there.

Did you manage to get through it alright?

Yeah, we got through no worries. You just need to pick your line and not go for the biggest bog hole. If you look at the last photo, we went through right next to the patrol, between the camera and the Patrol.

The Patrol has been sitting there for a long time as the engine was cold. So there was a heap of suction. We ended up dragging out a LOT of mud with it. I would not want to have to wash it afterwards!!!

It took two winches, both doubled up as well as an anchor car and a lot of digging...
