Hi All,

I called Scenic Rim late last week and all is good for the 26th. It will cost $35 for the day as Ben mentioned above and they only have facility to take cash or you can pay by direct deposit prior to the day, just send me a pm and I will pass on their bank details.

As it is Australia Day, I thought I would throw the barbie on the back of the ute so that we can have a bit of a sausage sizzle for lunch. By all means, bring some snags or any thing else you may like to cook for lunch.

Looking forward to seeing those that can make it

Yeah I just got a severe weather alert for tomorrow. I guess we will just have to play it by ear.

I have just spoken to Ben and we have decided to postpone the trip to Scenic Rim tomorrow. There has been a lot of rain through the Beaudesert area and the owners have not yet had a chance to check out the condition of the park.

As we now have some free time, does anyone wish to meet up for a more social gathering? Any ideas?

Don't have any plans in particular but with all the wet weather around we've cancelled our trip away so depending on what the plans are we might be able to make it.

With all the wet weather predicted tomorrow an outdoor activity might not be the go.

Perhaps a BBQ somewhere?

Ok, someone needs to make a decision.

If people would like to make a trip to Capalaba, Arie and I would be happy to host an Aussie Day BBQ. Or alternatively, if the weather is good we could head down to Thompson's beach at Victoria Point for a BBQ and swim.

OK. We will be attending either one. Cameron is still on call, but being within 30 minutes of Trinder Park we will be right to attend. We will just have to leave if he gets a call in. Just let us no on details.
