I have just booked our spot as well.
I believe there are still a couple of more $80 spots on the ferry. So it's not too late if you wish to come alone and haven't already booked.
The weather forecast currently is for a few showers, which means we are likely to have mostly sunny weather.
Though it's a fairly detailed agenda, we should have lots of time for sight-seeing, and coffee tasting, etc.
We should aim to meet just before 6:40am in the car outside the ticket office. At 6:40am we can drive to the ticket office and queue up for the ferry. The trip-sheet can be completed in the car park, or on the ferry.
BTW - as soon as you park your car on the ferry, jump out, and go upstairs to reserve a table/seats. Seats are limited on the ferry.

Hey Dave, are we all getting the vehicle annual permit of $38.25 at the island?
I prefer to get it there as it is going to be a real sticker rather than a print that I can't stick easy on the windshield?

Hi Mariana,
You can't print them out online, so the Info place on the island is the most convenient. Stradie is not governed by the Qld Government, and therefore camping fees are dearer, but 4x4 beach passes are cheapist (although they don't have that much beach to travel on, and only a couple of inland tracks).

We have booked our spot also. Looking forward to a great day.
Hi All,
Due to the weather forecast, I was thinking of having a lunch break at Point Lookout. Various shelter is available there, as well as some cafes.
So a change tonormal practice ..... we will have an option to buy lunch at one of the cafes or fish'n'chips shops. I know they have a very nice and fresh local seafood available.
Will see you all tomorrow around 6:30am to 6:40am.
