While being carefully to avoid any areas with "do not enter" signs, we started to explore a few tracks. There seemed to be hundreds to choose from. The Glasshouse mountains areas seemed to have a large sandy-clay content with minimal rocks. While this would minimise damage from rocks, the area would be extremely difficult when wet, and probably should be avoided to reduce and damage to the tracks.
In summary, it was a great day out, with tracks catering for all levels of difficulty. Being less than 1 hours drive from the midday of Brisbane, it's definitely a trip to repeat. Club members can choose their desired level of difficulty and meet up on numerous bypass tracks.
So .... on this trip, we had the three vehicles.

Our first track had an interesting start that required a careful manoeuvre over some rocks on the downward slope.

There were other interesting climbs up slopes, but nothing too difficult.

As the day warmed up, we found a swimming hole, but for some reason, no one was interested in a swim.

I managed to get some video, and by chance recorded the quote of the day .... "don't go too far to the left, as there is a hole that will swallow up your car". You can't really tell from the photo below, but there was an interesting erosion gully here (that could have swallowed a car).

Time for some fishing, or is there a Nissan down there somewhere?

For lunch we returned to the Glasshouse Mountains lookout picnic area, where the kids where showed us how to drive over really obstacles, as well as each other, with their rock crawlers.
After lunch, it was time to explore more tracks. It wasn't long before we had to pass through another swimming hole, aka smelly mud pit.

It coated the wheels and underside of the vehicles in a sandy clay mix that when dry, felt like sandpaper. I thought this would be extremely difficult to wash off, as it seemed to very hard to scrap off when dry. Luckily, once wet, the sand-clay mix just seemed of wash off with minimal water (under high pressure).
You can see all our wheels were colour coded to blend into the surround bush.

Just another interesting photo of some of the tracks. There were great, and generally you have options to choose you level of difficulty (or terror for some

It was a great day out, with some nice views from the hill tops.

The hills were not too high or too steep (generally). If things would go horribly wrong, only some panel damage, or a rolled vehicle would occur without too much fear of falling off a cliff or some rocky ledge.
Dave with some "armour plating" on the sides and rear was happy to scrap over some more interesting tracks, which resulted in a "sports" muffler.

Only when airing-up, it was noticed that someone else from the group also scraped with their rear bumper resulting in a little "light" damage.
But a great day out, and a trip we will definitely have to repeat.
