Charlie Morlands 10-11 November Revamped

This years Christmas party will be held at Charlie Morlands Camp Ground which is located roughly 7km SW of Kenilworth, and 150km North of Brisbane.

Rough description of Charlie Moreland Campground is located in an open forest, grassy setting within the Imbil State Forest adjacent to Little Yabba Creek. Adjoining Conondale National Park, this area provides easy access to the features of both the Imbil State Forest and Conondale National Park. Some features of the area include luxuriant rainforests, tall eucalypt forest, mosaics of plantation forests, waterfalls, boulder-strewn creeks and spectacular scenery. Suitable for tent camping beside your car, walk-in camping, and camper trailers, the campground may be accessed with conventional vehicle via the unsealed Sunday Creek Road, off Kenilworth Maleny Road. Facilities include water (treatment required), toilets (including wheelchair accessible)and individual fire rings (bring firewood). Open fires are permitted. Generators prohibited. A large enclosed paddock is provided beside the camping area for horses

The christmas dinner will be on the Saturday night

The club will be hosting a bbq with me organising all the meat for the event but I will NEED DEFIANTE NUMBERS BY THE 21ST OF OCTOBER, all i ask is that everyone brings a plate of something whether it be nibblies,salads or deserts.

Steve since you dont mind the club borrowing your bbq for this trip did you want me to bring a spare gas bottle along too.

If anyone can think of any other games to play feel free to let me know and we can organise something

David, Melinda plus 4 kids will be there. We are thinking of arriving the day before (to be confirmed). If heading out to the butcher, we would probably lean towards chicken. Too hard to get the kids to eat steak.

I was lucky tonight and had the site working for at least 20 minutes. Charlie Morelands availability is 160/200 people, plus 250 group sites still available.

Yeah a spare gas bottle will be a good idea Greg, Kim and I may try to make it on the Friday Night as well. Is there a secret santa this year or is it really true that santa died? my parents used to always tell me that but I refused to believe them.
