You better believe it!!!

I got a bit of work done to it. I cabled up the dc-dc charger and put the third battery in ready for a test run on Sunday.

Most of the dynamat is now in. All 4 doors, the rear wheel arches and panels.

How much difference does it make?

I'm not 100% sure yet. It does make a bit of a difference to the road noise at 60Kph but the difference should be more at 100Kph. I need to take it for a long drive.

The next step is to see what I can do about the engine noise. It's pretty loud, even though the GXL does have pretty good sound proofing.

The Dynamat is making a good difference. It has cut out a lot of the tyre noise.

I have been toying with the idea of a 3" exhaust. I ended up just going out and getting it. Ended up getting a Beaudesert system (no point in mucking about).

The hardest part is getting the old one off. Wasn't too difficult just took a while.

The first photo is the dump pipe. I'm very impressed with the dump pipe. It's about 3.5" in diameter and looks to be made really well.

and WOW what a difference it makes! The turbo spins up faster and you can tell it revvs more freely. Should have done it when I first got it.

Looks very nice. Now it needs to be coated in some mud/dirt and maybe a coating of sand.

I'm currently pulling out the antennae feed. Worst part is I installed the dual battery system afterwards. So now I have to take it out to remove the cable. And then ill pull out the spot light cable while the battery us out.

All takes time. :?

Seems I have fixed the weeping lid on the power steering lid. Seems this is a common problem. The simple fix was to invert the seal in the lid. The seal had an impression of the rim on it. So far no weeping.

I bought some genuine parts from a non-genuine supplier. They gave really good customer service and the parts come in the right looking bags with the right looking stickers.

This afternoon I got the rattle gun out and replaced all the rubber bushes in the rear sway bar.

Hi Ben. But they don't look like they belong ... yet. Ther're too clean.

I'm sure by Saturday afternoon they will blend in nicely.

BTW - I still really like that exhaust system. Almost too good of have under the car.
