Hi there, I'm keen to tag along with Anita (Tim has to work). Tim has suggested we could go up Duck Cree Road which is the dirt road to O'Reillys? Failing that, I like the glen hotel on Logan road as it has good food at a reasonable price and playground for the kids but they are always very busy, it's at 8mile plains near the Racq office? I just talked to Mark. How about we do a BBQ at his new place at Capalaba.
12:00pm at Mark's place. As it is a bit last minute can you bring your own food (sausages, steak, salad, etc). Mark will have the BBQ setup.
He has a pool there so bring your togs. If anyone has a cricket bat, bring that too (if the grass dries up enough).
I'll be there with the kids (poor Jane has to go to work).
Let me know who is coming if you already have not and I'll email Mark's address to you.
Hope to see you there!

...well.....as there is no follow up BBQ report they must have been serious when they said I won the booby prize (have to write the report) for arriving last today.
Well it was great we got out today even though 4wding was out of the question, thanks to Mark and Ari for offering for us to get together at their new house, I was last to arrive with Anita 45 minutes late after taking the scenic route to Capalaba. Ben and his kids were already in the pool which was the place to be in the humidity while Cameron, Kylie, Mark and Ari were chatting on the verandah. Poor Pepsi had been operated on again but they think her leg is responding better to this op than the one before Christmas. Soon everyone was cooling off in the pool and Anita was having the time of her life as she loves the water. We then had a good ol Aussie snag 'n bread lunch with salads followed up with some traditional laming tons while the kids scoffed ice cream. I apologies again Ari for Anita finding and unpacking your box of childhood toys then trying to drag them outside

other than that the kids behaved and soon took over one really good climbing tree while the adults got a tour around the garden and shed. Congrats to you both on your lovely new house and I think it's great you were there in time for Christmas
Well goodnight from me and we might see ya on the o'Reillys trip. Michele and Anita

Many thanks for the trip report Michele. I had a great time.
We were talking about trying to give this another go on Sunday. If we don't get much rain between now and then I think all will be OK.
The meeting details will all be the same, just for Sunday instead.

I talked to the park owners and half of it is closed. Apparently they have had more rain today.
This trip is cancelled, again
