I just called the park. They have not had any rain yet (just overcast and a little mist) and the tracks are in good condition.
See you tomorrow!

I think I have just found a marketing opportunity for the club - rain making. All we have to do is organise a trip to Janowen.
Or maybe it is because Arie and I are on holidays this week. The rain certainly made Ngkala Rocks easy yesterday.

Hi Guy
Soft I know, but after driving in the rain for over an hour, we have decided to pull the pin.
Looking at the radar site it has been raining up there this afternoon
Cheers Boxy

Checking the weather observations, they have had 9mm of rain there today. Will see what it is like in the morning.
Worst case if it is too wet, maybe we could go further west; maybe The Springs. I know that Dave and Gridpack haven't been there before.
But we'll stick with plan A for the time being.

......and if we do go to plan B then there is a spot just a little further on that may be worth an explore: Mount Magnus......
