Got a few more odd jobs done. Found that the wire to the second horn was broken. Pulled it all apart and re-connected and now the horn is quite loud.

Replaced some deteriorated foam from around the radiator and put some rescue tape around a small nick in a tie rod boot. Will be interesting to see how long the rescue tape lasts.

Replaced a blown bulb.

The power aerial now works; that was a tricky job. Bought a snorkel at the 4wd show. Also looking to fit a catch can. Will be interesting to see how much blowby I'm getting.

The drivers side central locing actuator was stuffed. I got a new one from Jaycar for $19.

The passenger side might still need replacing. Will give it a while and see if it behaves.

With a new clutch it goes faster. Now back onto the central locking.

Central locking is all good after replacing both front actuators.

Spent the weekend putting together a USB charger in the center console. Used an old switch blank to mount the USB port. Now we can charge the kids Nintendo's, the phone and Jane Kindle while out.

I got motivated to do this becuase Jane flattened my iPhone yesterday....

Got a second battery tray and installed it. Got the indicators for the bull bar in and Greg has helped me to install the bar. Many thanks Greg. Unfortunately we couldn't get one of the spotties off so we had to cut the cables. It look spretty good without the spotties, so I'll probably leave them off for a while.

I was worried about how I'd install the winch solenoid box. I got a winch install kit from ARB that has spacers for the winch and it also has a perfect bracket for the solenoid for that bar. Neat.

Got to get a slimline number plate for the front now.

I couldn't get the spotties off properly and had to throw them out.
