I have a couple of this cookers. They work well, and have been using them for years. I have a 10 year old version, and it seems to produce a slightly hotter flame then the almost identical newer versions. But the body of the newer version seems to get fairly warm after 15 minutes of use.

The explosions were due to misuse, but still, 84% of units failed when testing the over-heat shutoff value.
