Hi All,
Sorry for the short notice, but the tide times for this Saturday would be suitable for a late afternoon trip to Bribie Island. A few activities with the kids are keeping me busy in the morning and early afternoon. A proposed agenda would be :
• Meet at 4:00pm at the BP on Bribie Island,
• Hit the beach by 4:30pm (allowing time to air-down, etc).
• Drive the 16km up the beach, and stop at anything scenic.
• Return to 1st Lagoon by around 5:30pm,
• Relax on a camping chair, have a beer or two, and eventually cook some dinner.
• Take sunset photos.
• Have another beer and/or wine.
• Low tide is around 6:40pm
• As it get dark, we can consider leaving the beach (5 minute drive), air-up (if you’re not as lazy I am, who probably won’t bother to air-down).
• Be back in Brisbane around 8:15pm
Please note a vehicle permit needs to be purchased from the Department of Natural Parks (https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/)
