Ok - we have a change of plans. Date is now Sunday 28th of Dec.

Meeting location: BP Service Centre Morayfield (last one there has to write up the trip report)
Meeting time: 11:00am departure. (However, there is a Simpson Desert planning session starting at 9:00am)
UHF: Channel 13.

For people who are considering the Simpson Desert crossing in April, there is a planning session scheduled for 9:00am inside the BP centre. The goal is the allow around 2 hours for a talk, a bit of planning, etc. I'll bring a laptop and will have a wifi hotspot running.

Due to the weather, the 4x4 trip will be cancelled to avoid ripping up tracks.

For the Simpson Desert Planning session, there has been a request to make it closer to the city, which sounds like a good idea for most people. Sorry Puma, it probably means a little further travel for yourself.
