Glasshouse Mountains Day Trip - 13th Sept

Postby Dave » September 2nd, 2014, 11:53 pm

Folks,

We are planning another Glasshouse Mountains. There are still many places we haven't been yet, and there are a couple of spots to revisit because they were so much fun.

Trip Leader: Dave
Where: Glasshouse Mountains
Costs: Free!
Standard: Blue Square to Black Diamond
Meeting location: BP Service Centre Morayfield (last one there has to write up the trip report)
Meeting time: 8:40am for a 9:00am departure
UHF: Channel 13.

Bring along some lunch, a chair and a camera. We will try to have lunch at the lookout or on top of some ridge. Please let us know if you're interested in coming along.

I will come along for a drive but I also need to nurse my car through the next 6 months or at least past summer, don't expect any heroics (stupidity) this time.

That's good news..... that you're coming along and that you'll avoid heroics. I followed you into the first mud pit, and was tempted to try that really deep side track where you had to winch yourself out.

Craig tells me he will be coming as well. John, a friend from Melbourne, might be coming as well.

And we may have one more guest coming along too. He heard about our Glasshouse Mountains trips, and seen the results, i.e. the odd dint or two on bash plates or rock sliders.
