Queen Mary Falls/Condamine River - 12th April 14

Folks,
With the recent rains, it has been suggested we bring forward the Queen Mary Falls/Condamine River from May. So we will aim for a day trip on Saturday the 12th of April.

Where: Queen Mary Falls/Condamine River
Cost: Nil.
When: Saturday 12th of April 2014
Meeting Place:Boonah Soccer Club car park 9:15am for 9:30 departure
UHF: Channel 13
Trip Standard: Green (easy)
Trip Leader: Dave

Queen Mary Falls/Condamine River is around 2 hours drive from Brisbane CBD. There are a number of creek crossings along a gravel track, but should be a relatively easy drive and is suitable for all standards of vehicles.

Bring along your own lunch as we will probably stop at a park to eat. Also bring sunscreen, hats, cameras, etc. On our last trip, we had some great views of waterfalls, mountains, etc.

You could probably take the Rav 4 on this one Tim. The roads are good, the only question is the river height.

I've changed the meeting place to the Boonah Soccer complex (car park). This is on the main road leading through Boonah, i.e. on Ipswich-Boonah Rd just before the main round-about.

Meeting here will avoid most people back-tracking from the Aratula location to get to the Condamine River area.
