Conondale Rangers - Sat 10 August

The 10th of August will see the club heading off to the Conondale National Park. The plan is to follow the Dirty Weekends Guide, leaving the tarmac at Stoney Creek, then heading North toward Kenilworth. The track from the book then heads across to Jimna, however I doubt we will have time for that section in a day trip. Could be an opportunity for folks who might like to extend the trip and camp for the weekend.

Cost: Nil.
When: Saturday 10 August
Meeting Place: BP Service Centre Morayfield
Meeting Time: 8:30am
UHF: Channel 13
Trip Standard: I have not previously done this trip, however should be blue square if dry.

What to bring: Lunch and some chairs as I dont know where we will be stopping for lunch.

Yeah that would be right, I got all excited the other day when I thought we would finally be able to make our first trip of the year-------- but something has come up once again, looks like we can't make it after all. I really hope everybody has a great time and will look forward to the trip report.

I have been doing some research and the trip will take us though Bellthorpe National Park and then into Conondale National Park ending at Charlie Moorland, if all goes well and I don't get lost. It may still be a little greasy after all the rain.
